AI inside
Every other contractor app slaps a ChatGPT widget on the side. Mantle's AI is built into the spine — it drafts your work, runs your follow-ups, and watches your cash flow so you can stay on the job site.
The AI assistant that already works. Tell it what you want — "Add Mike as a client, schedule a walkthrough Tuesday at 9, draft his contract" — and it does the work. Preview mode lets you confirm each action before it touches your data.
Finish a job, talk into the phone — "Generate invoice for Mike, 8 hours labor, 200 sqft of LVP at $4 a foot, send it." Done. No typing on a 5-inch screen with sawdust on your hands.
Snap a photo of the room. AI reads dimensions, picks materials from your price book, drafts a full estimate, and prices it. You review and send — minutes, not hours.
Mantle writes the "hope the install is treating you well — mind leaving us a review?" email 30 days after every job. Signed by you. You stay top of mind without lifting a finger.
Knows your unpaid invoices, recurring expenses, and seasonal patterns. Tells you "you'll be $2,400 short by Friday — chase invoices INV-1043 and INV-1051 today."
Founder's note
I started in flooring. Real installs, real clients, real headaches. Every quote was a half-finished spreadsheet. Every invoice was a Word doc I'd reformat from last month's. Scheduling was a group text. Receipts lived in my truck's glove box until April.
I tried the big-name apps. $200 a month and they still didn't fit how a subcontractor actually works. Built for agencies, dispatchers, office managers — not the person who's on a knee pad at 7 AM laying LVP and answering client texts at the same time.
So I built Mantle. The app I wished existed. Estimates, invoices, contracts, books, scheduling, AI that drafts the boring parts — all in one place, priced for someone who actually swings a hammer.
It works for flooring. It also works for roofers, landscapers, handymen, plumbers, electricians, painters, HVAC techs, general contractors — anyone running a trade business who's tired of duct-taping ten tools together. The pain is universal. The software shouldn't be enterprise-only.
If you've been gluing together QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and group texts — this is the upgrade you were looking for.

“Finally — software that thinks like a contractor.
We replaced three apps with Mantle and our team actually uses it.”
